Awakening (Day 2 of Blog Challenge)

She awakens to
her destiny.

Her eyelids rip open,
seeing for the first time
in ages.

She will pour every last
ounce of energy,
every breath from her lungs,
into that which she is
destined to do.

Her eyes blaze a
never ending fire.
She is fire herself.

The world will be
her playground.
Her enemies will fall
in gruesome horror.

Every last bit of her
will be given.
Only in death will
she succumb.
